Romero Center

The Romero Center Ministries is a urban retreat and social justice education center in the heart of East Camden, NJ. We are a ministry of St. Joseph Pro-Cathedral.

Mission Statement

"To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God" (Micah 6:8).

Reflecting on the biblical story of God's vision for the world as good and just, and living in a world blind to that vision, we welcome everyone...

to join us in deepening our call to authentic, Christ-centered discipleship
to walk with those whose stories and histories are different from our own
to reflect on those encounters under the light of Scripture and Catholic Social Teaching
to open the path to conversion and transformation, through compassion, reconciliation, and justice.
