Service with the homeless through Joseph’s House of Camden.
Fridays, January 11 through April 26, 8:00-11:00pm
Gather with Patrick Cashio at The Victor’s Pub (1 Market Street, Camden) and carpool to Joseph’s House (523 Stevens Street, Camden). Only 3 volunteer spots available each Friday night.
Volunteers will carpool to Joseph’s House to serve a meal, sort clothes, and play games with guests. Joseph’s House of Camden is a non-profit dedicated to caring or the homeless.

In the spirit of Peter Maurin, co-founder of the Catholic Worker Movement, we invite you to join us for “Roundtable discussions for the clarification of thought.”
Find your own journey in another’s presentation related to faith and justice, share a meal, and build community with other folks in the area. Please bring your friends and a dish to pass!

Weekly Gospel Study
Tuesdays, January 8 through May 14, 7:00-8:00pm

We focus on the narratives of our faith as they are written, with questions like: “What does this say? Who’s in this story? What’s the conflict?” to help us learn about the God who is revealed at the core of the Gospel stories.
No RSVP or experience necessary, just show up!
This is a great opportunity to explore one of the most misunderstood principles of our faith, the right to immigrate. Explore the story and reality of immigration in the United States.
The group will meet for 8 consecutive weeks starting April 17th . Each meeting will last approximately 2 hours.
First meeting:
Wednesday, April 17th, 7:00pm at the Romero Center, Camden, NJ
facilitated by Cheryl Mrazik and Matt Hartnett.

Service in El Salvador through

Mission pre and post-trip formation meetings:

Volunteers build homes, spend time with children at summer camp, visit the sites of Archbishop Oscar Romero‘s life and the Jesuit martyrs’ deaths, and explore the modern history of El Salvador.
