What Is Our Young Adult Ministry?

“A community is a group of men and women who have found the truth in Christ and in his Gospel, and who follow the truth and join together to follow it more strongly.”

Archbishop Oscar Romero

The mission of Romero Center’s Young Adult Ministry is to provide folks in their 20s and 30s the opportunity to build community while integrating faith, service and justice into their lives.  We encourage young adults to insert a faith perspective into their observations and dialogue about the world around us; to hold the gospel in one hand and a newspaper in the other.

Some of the community-building opportunities that we offer include: local service and reflection experiences, faith sharing, Masses for a particular justice intention, retreats, and international service trips. We hope that through these experiences, people will form ongoing relationships, especially with the city of Camden.

If you’re interested in finding out more or getting involved, check out our upcoming events page! Or, feel free to send us an e-mail at yam@romero-center.org.

We welcome anyone, no matter where you are on your journey of faith. If you’re within driving distance and are in your 20s or 30s, please join us for any of our events!
