“Beloved”
  Peer-led faith sharing through Lent

“Beloved” is our small, faith sharing groups guide for Lent 2012.  It is based on the movements of the Eucharistic feast: Taken, Blessed, Broken and Given.  Participants will find a new way to understand their relationship with God and with their neighbor.

Bread for the World is a Christian organization that puts pressure on US government officials to end hunger both in the US and abroad.

Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) is the domestic anti-poverty, social justice program of the U.S. Catholic bishops. Check out their Youth and Young Adult Resources.

Catholic Charities is the national office for local Catholic Charities agencies and affiliates nationwide.

Catholic Coalition on Climate Change supports and the USCCB’s Office of Social Development and World Peace and Environmental Justice Programs.

Catholic Relief Services is the official official international humanitarian agency of the U.S. Catholic community.

Center of Concern’s Education for Justice provides educational resources on justice and Catholic Social Teaching.

Consistent Ethic of Life is a network that brings together resources that stand for a consistent ethic of protection of life.

Diocese of Joliet’s resources on the Catholic position against the death penalty.

Diocese of Richmond’s resources Educating Peace and Justice

Ignatian Solidarity Network provides resources and support in work for service and justice to people who have graduated or been connected to Jesuit ministries.

Pax Christi is the national Catholic peace movement.

United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has information about Catholic Social Teaching, global poverty, and prayer and education resources for an array of social justice issues.
