A Message of Radical Welcome for Young Adults
Whoever you are and wherever you find yourself on your journey of faith you are welcome to join us for dialogue and fellowship. This is an invitation for young adults from all over Camden and Burlington Counties who may feel left out of their church communities, unsure of where they fit in, as well as those who are just looking for more ways to reconnect to their faith community as young adults. Whether you are a single or married young adult, come join us as we gather together socially, explore topics in young adult spirituality, engage in service and discuss how we may continue to form a community of seekers trying to live a faithful and faith-filled life. Several events are already planned with many more to come.

Are you looking for a transformative retreat experience?
Are you looking for ways to get youth to think seriously about their faith?
Are you trying to find the next step for your adult faith sharing or bible study group?
Romero Center Ministries can help!
Romero Center Ministries is an urban peace and justice retreat center located in Camden, NJ that provides a variety of activities and experiences rooted in biblical justice and Catholic Social Teaching. For the last ten years, Romero Center Ministries has hosted thousands of youth and young adults at our retreat center which now has two fully-functioning kitchens, a chapel and two large community rooms. The Center can accommodate groups of 42 for youth and 18 for adults for one day, overnight, weekend, or weeklong experiences. We offer a unique opportunity in which direct service at various social service agencies in the Philadelphia and Camden areas is interwoven with prayer and deep reflection, centering on how the new relationships formed among people at these agencies create a change of heart in both individuals and the faith community. We go beyond one-time services experiences to engaging and transformative relationships, based on being present to the other. We welcome clergy, campus ministers, youth and young adult ministers, DRE and parish adult formation directors to come and experience all that we have to offer. Please contact Romero Center Ministries if you would like to schedule an on-campus weekday or week end visit to “shadow” our program. If you cannot come to the Center but would like to know more, a member of our staff would be happy to come to your location to speak to you pastor, youth, young adult or adult group. For further information please contact Mike Giansiracusa, Youth and Young Adult Director, Romero Center Ministries at 856-964-9777 x606 or email at mikeg@romero-center.org or visit our website www.romero.center .org.
